Listen to the whispers,
before your body starts to shout

Hello, my name is Michelle Metcalf.

I am a Nutritional Therapist with a Practitioner Diploma from the Nutritional Healing Foundation and a full member of the Federation of Nutritional Therapy Practitioners (FNTP).

For over 20 years, I was a Special Needs teacher and in 2016, my family and I moved to Bali for an adventure. Our elder son had suffered from crippling migraines since he was little and this was affecting every aspect of his life.  In Bali, surrounded by a culture that embraced alternative healing, we met Dr. Peggy, a homeopath who immediately suspected a genetic mutation. Blood tests confirmed it, and by changing his diet, his migraines disappeared. That experience first opened my eyes to the power of food as medicine.

Fast forward to December 2023 and my husband became very ill. Conventional medicine had no answers for him, so I immersed myself in research. At 4 a.m. one morning, I had my eureka moment and realised what was wrong with him. Over six months, using only food and natural therapies, I restored his health—reinforcing my belief in the healing power of food and leading me to retrain as a Nutritional Therapist.

Now, I support clients on their own health journeys, whether through home visits, or remote consultations for those further afield. If you're ready to take control of your own health, I’d love to help!

My Process

As a Naturopathic Nutritional Therapist, I work with the understanding that the body has an essential ability to heal itself when given the right conditions at a cellular level.

My approach is highly individualised, focusing on uncovering the root causes of symptoms rather than simply managing them. Using a gradual, step-by-step process, I tailor each treatment plan based on my client’s progress, ensuring flexibility and adaptation as needed. This approach ensures a positive, supportive partnership, allowing me to guide and encourage clients throughout their journey.

The process begins with an in-depth initial consultation, where I take a comprehensive case history, including current diet and lifestyle habits. Through a series of follow-up sessions, we work together to address imbalances and support the body's natural detoxification processes—creating an internal environment where cells can thrive.

By shifting from a state of defense to one of growth and repair, we unlock the potential for lasting well-being and vitality. My goal is to empower clients to take control of their own health. Whether the focus is improving overall diet, resolving persistent symptoms, or addressing the deeper causes of dis-ease, Nutritional Therapy provides the tools and knowledge to achieve sustainable, long-term health.
